Interior
Below decks, Sojana speaks of an age of opulence and sumptuous
quality. Her dark mahogany wood panelling and gold-plated
fittings sit side by side with marble basins and luxurious
fabrics, ensuring comfort at every port of call.
The brief for interior designers, Design Unlimited, was
to develop a dual function interior that while meeting the
demands of fast offshore racing should be adaptable for
safe family cruising.
Soft
furnishings and finishes were selected from around the world,
and a fine selection of custom hand made crockery, Egyptian
cotton linen, silver cutlery and crystal ensure that both
clients and guests staying on board Sojana have a truly
memorable experience.
The
owner's stateroom, located forward across the full beam
of the yacht, has a two-seater sofa, dressing table and
plenty of cupboard and hanging space. The fabrics feature
a gold and navy theme, with caramel cashmere throws and
warm lighting enhancing the comfortable luxurious ambience.
An
en-suite shower room trimmed in satin finished mahogany
features an antique style washbasin with gold plated taps
and Crema Valencia marble. Custom manufactured named towels
with the Sojana logo and cool Egyptian cotton bed linens
add to the luxury feel.
The
saloon/dining area is accessed via a well-proportioned impressive
staircase from the main companionway. The ambience was intended
to be that of an old fashioned gentleman's club with raised
and fielded Sipo Mahogany panelling and pommele detailing.
The navy, gold and cream theme is continued throughout with
a carefully selected range of fabrics which complement the
rich wood veneer.
To
starboard is a comfortable seating area with two gold chenille
covered sofas facing each other over low tables and a bookcase
concealing a large plasma screen television. Custom display
cabinets and plenty of scatter cushions enhance the comfortable
ambience.
To
port the leather covered dining seating can easily accommodate
eight to ten around the pommele burr topped dining table.
The
VIP cabin located on the port side of the vessel is large
and well appointed and features a cream and gold theme which
is complemented by the blue marble en-suite shower room
and gold plated fittings. Baccarrat crystal glasses and
silver water jugs next to the bed add a nice welcoming touch
for guests.
The
twin guest cabin located to starboard features a stylish
yet practical colour scheme and en-suite shower room with
blue marble surfaces and gold plated fittings.
There
is also an additional cabin containing two bunk beds, the
fabrics again following the prevailing blue and gold theme.
